We handle projects within the Construction, Mining and Resources industries. What makes us different to other businesses is that we began as a labour hire firm so we have a wide resource of labour that come from all industries with specialised and general skills, and at a very competitive price. We often take on cost plus projects and joint ventures where the client wants visibility on the costings and we are a very open an honest company that always works in with businesses to achieve best case scenarios. For long milestone projects we present a financial report each month so the client is up to date with all aspects and has excellent visibility as to the tracking of the project. We also know our business inside and out and won’t take on projects beyond our capabilities or budget. Every project is evaluated based on a risk matrix, and any risks are brought to the attention of the client so we can work through them together to mitigate them before they happen.

On Time Completion
Down to Earth prides itself on achieving its projects on time. The company deals with, amongst other perishable and date sensitive horticultural products, where harvest, post harvest treatment, packaging, transport and distribution is high stress, deadline driven and where time period is critical.
Down to Earth through detailed analysis identifies the critical pathway to achieve the projects within the allotted time period, with the appropriate time contingencies in place.
Wet Weather Policy
Down to earth evaluates the weather patterns in the project area to ascertain probabilities for inclement weather, and factors this into the estimated completion times and costings.
Traffic Management
During projects, all traffic will be held within the site boundaries and the allocated traffic movement routes. A project evaluation of estimated traffic numbers is used to ascertain the correct flow channels and path widths, and project site areas are usually fenced off and two way radio control areas are used. Sites are usually closed to pedestrian traffic and will be generally manned by security.
